Registered Massage Therapist Certified Melillo Method Practitioner Hair Mineral Analysis Practitioner
Welcome! I'm Janelle Boychuk, a seasoned and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist, embarking on a holistic journey shaped by both professional and personal experience.
Professional Experience
As a dedicated Massage Therapist, my practice includes working in the following modalities:
Swedish Massage: Providing a foundation of relaxation and rejuvenation, Swedish massage is a cornerstone of my practice, promoting both physical and mental well-being.
Craniosacral Therapy: With a gentle touch, I delve into the profound world of craniosacral therapy, aiming to restore balance to the central nervous system and foster a sense of calm and vitality throughout the body.
Myofascial Release: Specializing in releasing tension from the body's connective tissues, my approach to myofascial release aims to enhance flexibility, ease of movement, and overall physical comfort.
Holistic Journey
My journey into holistic wellness took an impactful turn when my beautiful daughter was diagnosed with non verbal autism. This profound experience of her diagnosis, ignited my passion for alternative therapies and holistic approaches. It became a catalyst for my exploration into a broader spectrum of wellness practices, ultimately shaping the diverse range of services I offer today.
Certifications
I have been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist for over 2 decades. I also hold certifications in the following areas:
Certified Melillo Method Practitioner: Through specialized training in the Melillo Method, I bring a unique perspective to addressing neurological challenges. This is done by stimulating the motor and sensory systems in the brain and body through various physical exercises, cognitive training and sensory stimulation.
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis Practitioner: Understanding the body at a deeper level, I utilize hair tissue analysis, a screening tool, to measure mineral and toxic metals in a hair sample
Personal Life
I am blessed to have a supportive husband by my side. We've been on this journey together, navigating the challenges and celebrating the triumphs that come with raising a non-verbal autistic daughter. It's within the tapestry of family life that I find strength, inspiration, and a deeper understanding of the importance of holistic healing.
Things I enjoy doing that bring me joy include cooking, being in nature feeding the chickadees, spending time with great friends and family and taking any new course I can to learn more about the neurodivergent brain.
Thank you for considering me as part of your holistic journey. I look forward to working together.
