Hair Mineral Testing

“MINERALS ARE THE SPARK PLUGS OF LIFE.”

- Henry A. Schroeder

Hair mineral balancing, also known as hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA), is a diagnostic tool used to assess the levels of various minerals and trace elements in the body by analyzing a small sample of hair.

How it works

Sample Collection

A small sample of hair, usually taken from the back of the head, is collected for analysis. This method is non-invasive and provides a historical record of mineral levels over a three month period of time.

Toxic Element Detection

Hair mineral analysis can also reveal the presence of toxic elements such as Aluminum, lead, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic. Elevated levels of these substances may be associated with environmental exposure or dietary factors.

Mineral Analysis

The hair sample is processed to extract information about the concentrations of minerals and trace elements present. Common minerals analyzed include calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, zinc, copper, iron, and others. Heavy metal status is also tested and graphed.

Holistic Wellness Guidance

I, who specializes in hair mineral balancing, will use the analysis results to develop personalized wellness plans. These plans may include dietary recommendations, supplementation, and lifestyle adjustments aimed at correcting imbalances and promoting overall health.

Nutritional Insights

The mineral levels in the hair can provide insights into your nutritional status and potential imbalances. Certain mineral ratios are believed to indicate specific health conditions or tendencies. The specific ratios utilized,  can find imbalances with blood sugar, adrenal status, thyroid strength, hormone fluctuations, present infections and overall body stress.

Monitoring Changes

Regular follow-up hair analyses can be conducted to monitor changes in mineral levels over time. This provides valuable information about the effectiveness of the implemented wellness strategies.
